Goals contain Objectives, which in turn contain Strategies.
Adding a new Goal
1. Enter Admin Mode on the Strategy page.
2. Click the green ‘New Goal’ button.
Note: If multiple Goals, Objectives, and Strategies already exist, you may need to scroll down to the bottom of the page.
3. Enter a name for the new Goal.
4. Click the green ‘Save’ button.
5. The new Goal will appear below any previously existing Goals, Objectives, and Strategies. (How to reorder Goals)
Editing an existing Goal
1. Enter Admin Mode on the Strategy page.
2. Click the ellipses (three vertical dots) to the right of the Goal you wish to edit.
3. Select ‘Edit’ from the dropdown menu.
4. Edit the name of the Goal as desired.
5. Click the green ‘Save’ button.
Duplicating an existing Goal
Goals can be duplicated within the same dashboard’s Strategy page or can be duplicated to another dashboard’s Strategy page within your district’s Strategic Dashboard. When a Goal is duplicated, any existing Objectives and Strategies within that Goal will also be duplicated.
1. Enter Admin Mode on the Strategy page.
2. Click the ellipses (three vertical dots) to the right of the Goal you wish to duplicate.
3. Select ‘Duplicate’ from the dropdown menu.
4. Select the dashboard you wish to be the destination for your duplicated Goal.
5. Click the green ‘Duplicate’ button.
6. Your duplicated Goal will appear below all existing Goals on the selected dashboard Strategy page and the name of the duplicated Goal will begin with “Copy of”.
Deleting a Goal
WARNING: Deleting Goals is permanent and cannot be undone. If a Goal is deleted, all Objectives and Strategies within that Goal, as well as all data, dates, files, and links added to the Strategies, will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
1. Enter Admin Mode on the Strategy page.
2. Click the ellipses (three vertical dots) to the right of the Goal you wish to delete.
3. Select ‘Delete’ from the dropdown menu.
4. Click the red ‘Delete’ button.
