To account for NWEA MAP’s Enhanced Item Selection Algorithm (EISA), ECRA has made the following updates to School Improvement for Illinois School Districts:
Updated MAP Benchmarks to IAR-Equated Benchmarks
Starting in the Fall of the 2024-2025 school year, ECRA has aligned MAP benchmarks to IAR-equated benchmarks for districts using the Enhanced Item Selection Algorithm (EISA) version. This update will also be retroactively applied to the 2023-2024 platform data.
Updated National Percentiles (NPs)
Based on the NWEA MAP Growth Concordance Tables, ECRA has adjusted the National Percentiles (NPs) for districts adopting EISA, effective from the Fall of the 2024-2025 school year. Additionally, ECRA has retroactively updated the National Percentiles for the 2023-2024 academic year on the ECRISS platform.
