Introduction
This article will provide quick guidelines for efficient and timely transferring of data between your district and ECRA for the various ECRISS systems. Below is a list of suggestions for how to prevent the delay of report delivery.
ECRA Group Data Upload Login Instructions
- Login to the ECRISS platform at https://ecriss.ecragroup.com/ either by logging in with Google or with a username and password. If you do not have a password, click Forgot Password.
- Once logged in, select the Document Library application to upload data files.
- Click on the “DATA” tab.
- Choose a file from your computer to upload to the portal.
- Once a file has been selected, click the ‘Upload File’ button to upload the file to the document library application.
Helpful Tips on File Uploads
Assessment Files
- Downloading raw data files directly from a publisher’s website in a standard format is preferred (where applicable). If you feel comfortable providing ECRA with login information, we would be happy to download these files for you.
- If you prefer to download raw data files and send them to ECRA, instructions for standardized downloads can be provided by ECRA for AIMSWeb, MAP, state assessment data (data for prior years), ACCESS, iReady and STAR 360 Renaissance.
- ECRA will create a secure upload portal for you to send us your data.
- When transferring or uploading data to the portal, make sure file titles are clear and contain the correct term or year.
- Notify ECRA when files have been uploaded to the file transfer portal.
Student IDs
- Consistently use state and local student IDs throughout all rosters and assessment files.
- For AIMSWeb only: If your files do not contain either a state or local student ID number, please provide ECRA with a roster file containing the AIMSWeb and student ID numbers for each student. This allows ECRA to link AIMSWeb scores to other assessments.
File Structures
- Excel, CSV, or Text files are preferred.
- Provide test results for the entire district instead of different files for each school.
Rosters
- Ensure that student rosters do not contain multiple records for individual students with conflicting information. For example, a student may be listed twice and have two different grades, school names, lunch designations, etc. If this occurs, a list of the students with multiple records will be returned to your district for clarification.
- Ensure that all students within a grade are placed in the correct school. For example, fifth graders may be listed in the roster as being in the junior high when in fact they are enrolled in the elementary school. This usually occurs when a roster for a previous year is constructed from current school year student data. The grade is often subtracted but the school name is not adjusted.
- If your district would like to see student information disaggregated by any other demographic or program, add this information to the roster that you send to ECRA.
